THE STORY:

Now I would like to introduce the project.

My name is Josef Teska and I am a junior iOS developer.

This app was designed to explain and introduce users to the growing market of social media.

I came up with Xplaind after discovering a problem. My grandma kept asking me questions about social media. How do I use this? What is this TikTok you keep talking about? How do I send messages?

Or even better.

What is this hashtag thing?

After countless hours of explanation and trial and error, she learned how to do all of that. However, I had to sit her down and explain everything.
Many people do not have the time nor patience to explain how something so simple works. My generation is fortunate enough to have the ability to learn and adapt to new trends. We were born with this ability. Social media is as natural as walking or simple expression. 

However, others do not have this privilege. Especially older generations.

MY MOTIVATION BEHIND XPLAIND:

Thus I decided to create Xplaind. Xplaind is a simple app that introduces users to social media. My goal is to create a platform which everyone, no matter the skill or age, can use and learn from.

So please, even if you do not think this app is useful to you, share it with your older family members and friends. 


It might help them.
